Common questions
What exactly is HARD Rx?
HARD Rx is a sublingual tablet that combines two FDA-approved active ingredients used to treat erectile dysfunction — sildenafil and tadalafil — in a single dose that dissolves under the tongue instead of being swallowed. It's prescribed after an independent licensed U.S. physician reviews your health questionnaire, and it's filled by an accredited American pharmacy.
Am I a candidate for it?
That's a medical decision, and it's made by the reviewing physician, not by us. In general, ED medications combining sildenafil and tadalafil are not suitable for men taking nitrate medications, men with certain heart conditions, or men on specific other medications — which is exactly why the questionnaire asks for a complete list of what you take and your full heart history. Be thorough and honest in your answers; the physician can only evaluate what you tell them.
Is a prescription part of the price?
Yes. The physician's review is included at no extra cost with every plan, and you are never charged unless a licensed physician approves your prescription. If you're not approved, you pay nothing.
How long until it turns up?
Standard delivery is free and typically takes 3–5 business days from the point your prescription is approved and filled. The outer packaging is unmarked — nothing on the box identifies the pharmacy, the brand, or the contents.
How quickly does it work, and for how long?
Typical onset is around 15 minutes because the tablet dissolves sublingually rather than being digested. The window can run up to 36 hours. Individual response varies, and arousal is still required for the medication to have an effect — it does not work automatically.
What if I want to stop?
Every plan can be skipped, resized, or cancelled before your next delivery is processed. There's no retention call and no cancellation fee. Manage it directly from your account, or contact us and we'll handle it.
What might I feel that I would rather not?
Like other PDE5-inhibitor medications, some men experience headache, flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion, or lightheadedness. These are typically mild and temporary, but if anything feels severe or persistent — or if you experience chest pain, vision or hearing changes, or an erection lasting more than four hours — stop and seek emergency care immediately, and tell your physician on your next questionnaire.
Do I have to sit through a video appointment?
In most states, no — your written questionnaire is what the reviewing physician evaluates. A small number of states require additional steps under local telehealth law, and if that applies to you, we'll tell you exactly what's needed before you're charged anything.
